New Year's Eve!!!!!!!!!!!!

This New Year's Eve, we hung out with the older people of this world. Clark and Eileen put on a neighborhood party and we kids (us, Jake & Alyssa, Jason) were the youngest ones there . It was required to wear an extravagant hat of sorts. Christine spent a bit of time working on her and Daisy's hats while I just threw on a fez my dad owned. Fun times.

Christmas!!!!!!!!!!!!

So, Christmas has come and gone. We're both a little sad at it's passing, but we had a fun holiday together. We had our own Christmas before we went up to our parent's house on Christmas Eve. It was fun to have Daisy help us open our presents.

One Year

A few weeks ago we celebrated our first year of marriage! December 22nd was the day and we had a great time. I decided to surprise Christine by taking her to the north pole...via train. We departed from Heber City and after only a 45 minute ride we arrived at the famous North Pole. Santa hopped aboard the train on the way back and we sang Christmas carols. Afterwards, we treated ourselves to the Olive Garden.

Christine got me an awesome gift: "The Music of the Lord of the Rings Films" (Book) by Doug Adams. It's been entertaining me for a while now.

More fun with Daisy

Poor Daisy has to endure all kids of dress up, although she does love the sweater and gets excited to have it on she is not a fan of the boots.

We decorated our tree on Friday and Daisy found a new favorite hide-out.

Halloween

I know I should have put this up almost a month ago, but better late than never right? Anyways Mikey and I were garden gnomes and Daisy was our little garden mushroom.

Last blast of Summer

Michael and I wanted to do something really fun before he started the new school year (his last one!), so we decided to take a day to just have some fun. We went to Cowabunga Bay waterpark, and had a great time. The slides were so fun and since all the kids were already back in school it was almost like we had the park to ourselves. We had a great time and were completely worn out afterwards, but not too worn out for some delicious food at Carino's. It was the perfect end to a great summer.
